Crispy Air Fried Tofu

This is a recipe I'm so excited to share with you guys for multiple reasons, the main ones being that it's delicious and it's a great alternative to chicken now that the price has skyrocketed. I like to serve this in my favorite bowl with a honey garlic, or a tzatziki sauce, but the limit really does not exist here!


Crispy air fried tofu and broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 14oz block of Organic Firm Tofu

  • 2-3 tbsp cornstarch

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Seasonings of your choice

  • I like to use garlic powder, onion powder, and whatever might go with the rest of my meal i.e. turmeric and paprika if I'm doing something Mediterranean inspired.

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

- Drain water out of the tofu box, wrap tofu in paper towels and place on a plate with something heavy like a book on top. Let this sit 30 minutes to an hour to get rid of excess water.

- Unwrap the tofu and dice it into your desired size pieces. Mix in a large mixing bowl with cornstarch, seasonings, and olive oil. Be gentle here so you don't break the tofu blocks.

- Spread them out in the air frier basket, and air fry at 375° for about 15 minutes, tossing half way through.

- Toss with your sauce of choice & serve!
